Rodriguez Boat Builders was founded by the Rodriguez family in 1976.

Since then we have managed to grow during the good times, and have maintained our position during the lean years. We are fortunate to be located in an area that is well known for its boat building expertise. We are served by two main deep water channels, Bayou La Batre and Bayou Coden. We also have a very large and skilled labor force available. For example, our city of only 2500 employs more than 5000 people within its city limits. These natural advantages, along with our abilities have enabled us to build quality boats, meet delivery schedules, and most importantly, give to our customers the most important and most elusive commodity of all, real value. These things are the foundation upon which we have built our company.

We have the experience that we have gained from building more than 232 various vessels for customers the world over. On every American coast, as well as Central and South America, and Africa, you will find Rodriguez built fishing vessels doing an honest day's work.
